Educational leave requires manager approval before the leave starts. It is never automatically approved.

Annual and educational leave have separate allowances. Educational leave always requires pre-approval. Annual remaining = allowance − approved days. After pending also subtracts pending requests. Balances of 7 days or less are highlighted.

Academic year: October 1 to September 30. The allowance renews every academic year. Confirm the program policy before approving leave. Annual and educational leave use separate balances. No automatic carryover or public-holiday exclusions.
